Remember in Fatal Attraction where she boils the family’s bunny rabbit? I sympathise. We have new next door neighbours. They have a tiny little dog that looks like a ball of white fluff. But man, can that dog bark. Well, its more of a high pitched yap. And it doesn’t stop. No matter what time of day or night – it sounds as if it is running up and down the hall of the apartment building yapping at everyone and everything in sight.
This morning when I went into the kitchen to make coffee, barely awake, it sounded like it was yapping outside my door and it woke me up darn quickly, I tell you. Doesn’t it have a freaking mute button? Are there not rules that dogs mustn’t bark between 11pm and 8am? Why does the dog need to bark so much? Are his humans not taking care of him?
He looks really cute, he does, but he never ever shuts up. It’s been a week now and I am fed up. I have a pot big enough….Nah, that’s not me. But the thought comforts me. And it’s the thought that counts, right?

You can call the cops and they will get a ticket? What have you got to lose?

I would make a comment to the owners about. Hopefully it is just a faze the dog is going through, but they can be taught not to bark with proper trainning.
On a side note, this reminds me of a story…
My great aunt on my dad’s side had a lovely little poodle that was a “yapper”. She loved her little dog, but sadly, one day, a fed up neighbour actually picked up the dog and drop kicked it. The poodle died.
True story. My dad told me.

Are dogs allowed in your building? If they aren’t you can talk to the supervisor of the building. Dogs bark, especially the little ones, and there isn’t much to do about it. CATS on the other hand are quiet…CATS RULE AND DOGS DROOL!!

Just like with people…there are certain dogs that do little but yap.

the smaller the dog, the bigger and louder the yap!
