Chicken in White Wine – for seder meal

You are going to need a large pot for this, or  you can pile the chicken pieces on top of each other.

Ingredients

One onion sliced

8 pieces of chicken

Big pinch of salt

¼ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp pepper

4 tbs margarine

4 tbs oil (olive oil is the best)

½  cup  dry white wine

Preparation

Sprinkle chicken with salt, garlic powder, and pepper.

Melt margarine with oil in your pot over medium heat.

Throw in the onions, cook until translucent.

Add chicken, and cook, skin side down, for 5 minutes

Reduce heat to medium-low. Pour  ½ cup water and the wine over the chicken. Pour a glass for yourself – you deserve it!

Cover and cook for 1 hour.
