Heinous or Harmless – gift giving

You are given a gift of money by a relative for a birthday or anniversary. You take that money, go into a store and buy something for someone else with that money. You also know that the person who gave you the money absolutely dislikes the person for whom you are buying a gift. Is it wrong to spend that money on that person? Or is it your money once you have received it and you can spend it then on whom you like?

Interested in what you think….

  1. It’s yours 100% a moment you’ve picked them up. So you’re free to do anything with these money. I think you can’t burn them because then you’ll break american law…

But from a sencitive side of this questions you gotta figure that out yourself. These money where meant to be a present for you. If you feel presenting your present to someone else then what’s wrong?

  2. It’s you money, you can do whatever you want with it.

  3. The money is yours, ENJOY IT! If that means getting a gift for someone else, then do so.
