I spend a lot of time on the roads. Hours at a stretch. I know when to use my high beams and when not to. How to change lanes safely and how much distance to keep between myself and the car in front. Apparently there are people allowed on our roads that either don’t know or don’t care.
There was a car driving behind and in front of me for quite a bit of the way home. When it was behind me it kept its high beams on all the time, blinding me thru my rear view mirror. Then it would decided to speed up and pass me, then slow down so I would have to pass it…..and 5 minutes later they would pass me. I finally just drove slower until they gave up on their game and found someone else to annoy. The high beams were the worst though – when you are driving in the pitch black and you glance in your mirror, it can be blinding.
What are you supposed to do in that situation? This insanity had the potential to be dangerous.
